INCLUSIVITY STATEMENT
We are LGBT friendly. We are also QIA+ and non-binary friendly. You can enter our race as female, male or non-binary.  If you are trans, you can run in the gender category with which you identify, subject to compliance with current SA/UKA rules of competition, which the organisers must adhere to.  Recent changes to these rules of competition sadly severely restrict the ability of trans athletes to compete in the gender category they identify with. Please contact us for assistance if you are trans and unsure what this means for you. We will be assessing the event's association with SA/UKA ahead of the 2025 event due to these recent changes.  All event portable toilets and showers are gender neutral.

We are fully committed to upholding all principles of the Scottish LGBT Sports Charter and aim to be as inclusive as possible. The organisers have a zero tolerance policy to any form of discrimination.

EVENT CHARITY PARTNER
We are pleased to be supporting Haldane Youth Services this year.  Based in Balloch this registered charity (SCO038681) delivers after school activities for children in the West Dunbartonshire area.

Their aims and objectives include providing opportunities to children to broaden and raise their aspiration using a variety of activities to positively engage young people into arts, culture, community, outdoor and healthy living activities.
